Worldclass musicians on next Jens Lysdal Cd

In the beginning of december 2004 Jens Lysdal was recording with GREG LEISZ (USA - picture) - lap-steel, guitars. DANNY FRANKEL (USA) drums & percussion. GUSTAF LJUNGGREN (Sweden) mandolin og guitars and JON BRULAND (DK) - bass.
 
The two americans were in Denmark with KD Langs band and
Greg  had mailed that they would have a day off for recordings.
As the two work as session musicians and side-men, they are probably not known to the big audience but their records reveal a certain routine:
 
GREG LEISZ:KD Lang, Joni Mitchell, Joe Cocker, Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson, Beck, Randy Newman, Robbie Williams, Sheryl Crow, Beach Boys, John Hiatt , Jerry Lee Lewis, Ryan Adams (and tons of others).
DANNY FRANKEL: Rickie Lee Jones, Lou Reed, Marianne Faithfull, Laurie Anderson, Jewel,
 Fiona Apple, Bo Diddley, Flying Karamozov Brothers, Bebel Gilberto, Don Cherry, Brazaville, Abby Travis, Beck  (og plenty more).
 
The two other musicians, both living in Denmark, should be known to most people interested in the danish music-scene.

 
The music from this session will appear on the coming Jens Lysdal CD. Expected release – fall 2005.
